Guided by one of our knowledgeable Cultural Guides, the tour begins at the Koorie Heritage Trust and journeys through the Birrarung Wilam (River Camp) Aboriginal art installations towards Yarra Park. Cross the William Barak Bridge, which connects the past to the present by honoring two influential figures—William Barak, a Kulin leader, and John Batman, a settler instrumental in the city’s founding. Your team will explore these contrasting legacies and gain a broader perspective on how Melbourne’s history has been shaped by both Aboriginal and settler narratives.

The walk leads to a traditional Kulin Nation meeting place, now home to some of Melbourne’s most celebrated sporting events, including those at the MCG.
